We asked Paul Mellor, Butchery Manager of IGA Everfresh Capestone in Mango Hill Queensland, why he proudly stocks our premium handmade chicken products.
Please tell us a little about yourself, your background and how you came to enter the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) industry?
I have been a butcher for 20 years and joined the team at IGA Everfresh Capestone as Butchery Manager around two years ago.
What do you love most about working at IGA Everfresh Capestone?
As a manager, I get to have control of our own stock.
What do you love most about your local area and community? Have you always lived in the area?
I live on the Sunshine Coast, so I travel into Capestone. But the area is a close, dense community. It’s very versatile and diverse which is rewarding.
How long have you stocked Lenard’s?
We have stocked Lenard’s for about two-and-a-half years.
Do you stock the Lenard’s deli range, meatcase range or both?
We stock both the Lenard’s deli range and meatcase ranges.
Which Lenard’s products do you stock?
I would say we stock 18-20 different lines, so a great variety of products.
What made you decide to stock Lenard’s?
In comparison to big supermarkets, I get to order my own stock and have more control over the products.
What is your favourite aspect of the support, ie marketing and sales support offered by the Lenard’s team?
The signage and cabinets supplied by Lenard’s really help the product stand out to our customers.
What do you and your customers love most about Lenard’s products?
Accessibility, it’s just so easy to heat and eat. Lenard’s has so many versatile options. We offer products that aren’t usually available at other retailers.

Versatility, reliability and consistency of the company which has produced the same great, unique products for the past 36 years.
Which Lenard’s products are most popular at IGA Everfresh Capestone, and why?
Enchiladas; they’re such an easy option for a delicious meal.
Which is your favourite Lenard’s product, and what do you usually serve as sides?
Enchiladas again, they’re just so good!
